SUMMARY: Having taken her NEWTs independently after Voldemort’s death, Hermione returns to Hogwarts to work as an apprentice under Filius Flitwick. A frustrated Ron, unhappy with Hermione being so busy (and often with Severus) as well as his own position as an auror trainee unwittingly casts a spell that sends Hermione right into Severus Snape’s arms.

I do have two other completed fics for this pairing so I will move right from this one into the next. Again as with my first fic for this pairing (A Solitary Man) I am by no means a Harry Potter expert. I have seen the movies and read the books.
