Introduction

RPG stands for "role playing game." An RPG is a game in which you pretend to be someone you aren't. In this RPG, you pretend to be a character from Gone With the Wind. You "post" (via email) storylines to interact with other characters in the RPG.

After you become a character and an active member of the RPG, your posting and interaction with other characters will creaty storylines between your character and others. A simple post may look something like this:

John sat on the front steps waiting for someone to drive by and drop off the package. He had been sitting on the steps for almost an hour, waiting for the package. "Where is it?" he thought to himself. Just then, a mysterious looking woman approached John and said...

In this case the character, John, is waiting for someone to drop off a very important package. The person playing John is trying to bring in someone by using the words "...a mysterious woman approached John and said..." This allows any of the female RPG characters to reply to the email -- and from there a story will develop. But don't worry if you're confused about posting. We have created a posting tutorial that should help you create your first post if you decide to join the RPG.

By now you should have an idea of what the RPG is about. If you still have questions, please feel free to email us or Page Us. If you think you are ready to join the RPG, click here.
