Until December 2002 I never believed a man as good as the ones I read about in romance novels could be found. My opinion changed in a matter of hours when I met my very own hero. The stuff romance books are made of but better because he's real and here and asked me to share my life with him. July 27, 2003, Lee embarked upon his first marriage at the tender age of 48 and I feel blessed that he choose me to do it with.
I moved to Fargo, North Dakota in October 2001 with the goal of obtaining a Masters in Economics and moving to a larger city, ie., Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, etc. to put my B.A. in Theatre and Masters in Economics to use together if I could. Lee changed those plans and I have officially dug my heels and planted my roots in Fargo for the long haul.
We live in the house Lee grew up in. It's located in a nice part of South Fargo with an awesome yard, and is just blocks away from schools. Lee adopted my oldest daughter Stephanie in September 2004 and we had a baby girl in June 2004. For the first time ever, Lee, Stephanie and I feel like we're a part of a complete family unit.
Lee and I met when we both worked for Metro Area Transit in Fargo. Currently, Lee works as a driver locally and I work from home. With our little one just over 2, it's more cost efficient for me to work from home and not have the expense of daycare.
I look forward to spending every day I can with Lee, learning new things about him and experiencing life's pleasures with such a wonderful man by my side.
