I have begun submitting query letters to agents. My first was done by email Saturday, April 30, 2005 and a rejection was sent back within hours. From my understanding this agency is paying attention to other endeavors so I should not take it to heart. I officially qualified for and was granted PRO status from Romance Writers of America based on the rejection and the fact my manuscript is complete. I have mailed additional queries to other agents this week and will continue to do so a few at a time until I've made it through the list of agents I have I think might be interested in Amanda's Song. I have officially opened files for my manuscripts so that I can start putting rejections and other tidbits about each one in one place.

April 2009

I've been lax in updating this page in a while. Admittedly, my writing has been sporadic the past year but I'm hoping to be back on track beginning this month. My original writing has suffered the past couple of years. Lack of time is part of it. The past five months I've gone through a severe case of writer's block. My plan is once I've punched a hole through the block to start again focusing on my original works.
