Summer Devotion is a story featuring two secondary characters in my completed manuscript AMANDA'S SONG. Robert is Rourke's college-aged son with his sights on law school. Melinda is Amanda's friend from when she first came to Chicago. Melinda and Robert met at Rourke and Amanda's civil service wedding. It's the following summer, Robert's home for a few months and they begin spending time together.
