I was born and raised in Arlington Heights, a large Northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois. I graduated a year early from John Hersey High School in 1986 and from Bemidji State University in 1990 with a BA in Speech/Theatre. My daughter was born in 1991 and I returned to the Chicago area shortly after where I remained until 1996. In August 1996 I moved to Orlando, Florida during my first marriage. Fargo, North Dakota is where I have called home since October 2001 and will continue to do so for many years to come. It is here that I have met my own romantic hero every heroine in the books I've read is deserving of. I have two daughters, 18 and 5. The baby is my husband's first so it's been an eye-opening experience for him this past year. We also have a cat and two parakeets that are very much a part of our family. Currently, when I'm not writing I work full-time online chat room/message board moderator.

Though I had an idea for a play in the back of my head for years I did not actually start writing anything until about ten years ago. I was brave enough to actually "publish" my writing on the Internet for the first time in the form of fan fiction in 2000. My first story dealt with Rhett and Scarlett, a retelling of Gone with the Wind my way. I have learned a lot since those first stories and while they irk me they remain on my site. Each story I have written is near and dear to my heart. Each story represents a point in my life that needs to be remembered.

My reading tastes are quite varied. I read multi-genres in: romance, horror, general fiction, mystery/suspense. Science Fiction is the one genre I'm least educated about. Favorite authors include:
Cherry Adair, Patricia Cornwell, P.T. Deutermann, Janet Evanovich, Christine Feehan, Joanne Fluke, John Grisham, Sue Grafton, Laurell K. Hamilton, Steven Hamilton, Thomas Harris, Victoria Houston, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Stephen King, William Kent Krueger, John T. Lescroart, James Patterson, Kathy Reichs, J.D. Robb, J.K. Rowling, John Sandford.

My writing is just as eclectic. I write exclusively romances but anything from contemporary to Inspirational to historical to paranormal to erotic interest me.
