Dexter

Thanks to a friend on the BuffyAngelFirefly Yahoo Group I'm on, I was able to catch SHOWTIME's Dexter Season 1 via VHS tape. I love it. Michael C. Hall is wonderful and it's great to see Buffy alum Julie Benz. I'm hooked and am glad that it was picked up for a second season. I recently read the first two books by Jeff Lindsay. While there are aspects to the books I really liked, I honestly (for the first time ever) believe the TV show is stronger than the books are. I'm finding the addition of Lily and Rita's mother to the show very intriguing and can't see where the show will take our good friend Dexter on this ride as he explores feeling things for the first time.
