Invisible Recruit by Mary Buckham, Silhouette Bombshell #92, May 2006 Rating: B

An agency developed to go places the CIA, FBI and agencies like it is the backdrop for Invisible Recruit.

Vaughn Monroe is a debutante, daughter of an ambassador, who could have anything in life she wants. She wants to become an agent. The training is difficult and she finds herself coming to blows with M.T. Stone and another recruit, Jaynee. She's confident, sassy, and willing to use the strengths of her upbringing to her advantage. I laughed when she used ballet and gymnastics in a fight or two. Whatever gets the job done!

M.T. Stone is a hard-nosed agent who is training the group of recruits Vaughn finds herself in. He does not believe she's cut out for this line of work and isn't afraid to say so.

The two find themselves posing as husband and wife trying to uncover what is being auctioned by a childhood friend of Vaughn's, they're not sure what he's auctioning off but they're quite certain it's no good. The sparks fly as these two come to terms with having to not just work together but trust one another as well.

Invisible Recruit was a good read. I enjoyed the characters, the other recruits included, and can't wait to see more from this series. I give it a B.
