A - a personal keeper
B - very good
C - okay
D - couldn't finish it, didn't do anything for me
I don't think I'll get very many D's and I don't believe I'll have the need to go below that to F. A book earning an A rating does not necessarily indicate I'll be keeping the books. I keep very few these days, too many unread books to read!
